PHASE ONE – EVALUATION CAMP

PHASE ONE is the first weekend for players to show their stuff!  This intense, four session (over 2 days) is where players will have a chance to show that they deserve the chance to represent Manitoba.

Players will be put through several individual assessments targeting the skills required for their chosen position, in a competitive environment with limited full contact.  Players will also be challenged in crossover sessions against their defensive or offensive counterparts simulating high calibre game situations.

The 2020 Phase One Evaluation weekend will take place April 18th and 19th at the WSF North Complex, 770 Leila Ave.  Our Provinical Team coaching staff for each team will evaluate and rank players by position.  Players at the top of their group will be invited to the next step, Phase Two to be held in May, 2020.

DETAILS COMING SOON

PHASE TWO – BLACK and GOLD

Black and Gold week consists of approximately 90 players selected from each of the U16 and U18 pool of players.
Two teams (Team Black and Team Gold) from each will compete in a full game from which approximately 40-50 players will be selected for the final selection Phase.  Teams will learn playbooks and schemes prior to the Black and Gold game.

Full details will be provided as soon as they are available.

PHASE THREE – FINAL ROSTER

The final 40-50 players in each age group make final preparations for either the Football Canada Western Regional Challenge (U16) or the Football Canada Cup (U18).  Each squad will consist of a final 40 person roster (plus alternates/spares).

Full details will be provided as soon as they are available.
